New “One Health” definition by the One Health high level expert panel (OHHLEP)

In November 2020, with the support of the French and German governments, the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO), the World Health Organization (WHO), the World Organization for Animal Health (WOAH, ex-OIE), and the United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP) created the One Health High-Level Expert Panel (OHHLEP). This team of experts, working on specific thematic areas, launched a definition of One Health in December 2021, which was endorsed through a statement by the recently created quadripartite (FAO, WHO, WOAH, and UNEP)
